I had a rough day. A little stressed out. Wasn’t gracious with my wife or children. Anxious about some upcoming projects and responsibilities. Tired as crap. Had other music collaborations to knock out before turning to this around 1:00 am. Popped my first 5-hour energy. That has to be a spiral gateway to meth amphetamines.
But, then you hear about citizen human shields strapped to tanks in Homs, Syria, and you begin to feel a little better about your afternoon. The violence of the government against its people has escalated significantly. Brutality against even its women and children is now widespread.
Bodily exhaustion is light duty relative to bodily shrapnel.
I had only time for a quick reflection tonight. Oh, and my recording just woke my daughter (1:48 am). Nice. Dad of the year.
